Ultimate Travel Packing List

“He who would travel happily must travel light.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Bonjour!

I love to travel and enjoy planning trips, organizing what I will need to take, and sharing what I’ve learned about the process (through beaucoup de trial and error) over the years.

As 2019 draws to a close, I’m beginning to think about possible travel plans for 2020, including a jaunt across the pond to London with L’Husband. I recently wrote about my top two travel tips, and adding a post about my Ultimate Packing List is a nice corollary.

Rue Ste-Catherine in the Gay Village of Montréal, Québec, Canada, May 2016

Every time I travel, I refine the List in some way. After five years of tweaking, it covers what I (almost) always take with me when I travel. It the starting point for packing, not the final destination.

I also know I will continue to adjust and adapt the List to shifting needs and wants. For instance, I have started to take my own lotions and cleansers to accommodate my sensitive skin (to avoid or reduce rosacea flare-ups; le sigh).

Please use, share, and make the List your own! You can also download a printable PDF version here:
